One of India's most senior urologists (also referred to as Chairperson Emeritus / DNB Teacher in Urology); also consults at Sitaram Bhartia Institute, New Delhi. Has one of the largest personal PCNL series in North India (approximately 4,000) and 300+ renal transplants; pioneered microsurgery in the Armed Forces. Expertise across endourology, uro-oncology, paediatric urology, reconstructive/vascular urology and renal transplantation. Past President, Urological Society of India; President, North Zone USI; postgraduate teacher/examiner (National Board; University of Pune; Delhi University); visiting professor at CMC Ludhiana and Guwahati Medical College.
