Dr. Anant Kumar

About

Dr. Anant Kumar chairs urology, renal transplantation, robotics and uro-oncology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, with 35 years in the field. He has performed more than 3,500 kidney transplants and 500 robotic operations, and has published over 180 papers. He completed his MBBS at King George's Medical College, Lucknow, and his MS in Surgery and MCh in Urology at PGIMER, Chandigarh. He was Professor and Head of Urology and Kidney Transplantation at SGPGIMS, Lucknow, and later directed urology, renal transplantation and robotics at Fortis and Apollo hospitals in Delhi NCR. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the British Association of Urological Surgeons and the Transplantation Society.
