Dr. Shafiq Ahmed leads urology, andrology and renal transplantation at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi, with over 18 years of surgical experience and more than 15,000 urological procedures performed, from robotic surgery to endoscopic and laser treatment. He is among the small number of surgeons worldwide actively performing robotic kidney transplantation, in both adults and children, and has set up renal transplant programmes at several hospitals across Delhi NCR. He holds an MBBS, an MS in General Surgery, a DNB in Urology and the MNAMS. He is a life member of the Urological Society of India, the Endourological Society of India, the Kidney Transplant Society of India and the Uro-Oncology Society of India.
