Head of Liver Transplant and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery at ILBS, leading it for over a decade into a high-volume adult and paediatric liver-transplant center — a first for a public-sector hospital in India, with 250+ transplants reported and results comparable to leading international centers. Also started the country's first MCI-recognized MCh super-specialty training program in HPB Surgery.
