Dr. Giriraj Bora

About

Dr. Giriraj Bora is joint director of liver transplantation and a senior consultant in gastrointestinal surgery at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon, with over 18 years of surgical experience and more than 2,000 liver transplants performed from living and deceased donors. He completed his MBBS and MS at the University of Rajasthan, his MCh at G.B. Pant Hospital, Delhi, and a fellowship in liver transplantation at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital. He performed Rajasthan's first liver transplant, and under his direction Artemis became the first programme in India to perform both pure laparoscopic and pure robotic donor liver procedures. His practice also covers liver transplantation for liver cancer and portal vein reconstruction in Whipple's operation for pancreatic cancer.
