Dr. Vijay Kumar Chopra is Senior Director of Cardiac Sciences at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, and has practised cardiology since 1979. He holds an MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and a DM in Cardiology from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He directed the heart failure programme at Medanta – The Medicity from 2009 to 2019, was Principal Consultant in cardiology at Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, and spent more than two decades as a senior consultant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. His practice covers heart failure, complex coronary artery disease, valvular intervention and preventive cardiology.
