Dr. Balbir Singh has 35 years in cardiac sciences and is Group Chairman of Cardiac Sciences at Max Healthcare and Chief of Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2007. He joined Max in 2019 after a long tenure as Chairman of Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology at Medanta. He is among the pioneers of pacemaker implantation and electrophysiology studies in India, and his practice covers complex coronary intervention and catheter-based treatment of heart rhythm disorders.
