Dr. Vinod Raina

About

Dr. Vinod Raina is a medical oncologist with more than 40 years in the field and chairs oncosciences for Fortis Healthcare, based at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon. He spent 24 years at AIIMS, New Delhi, as Professor and Head of Medical Oncology, where he was principal investigator on around 50 research projects and mentored close to 70 residents and DM students. He joined Fortis in 2013 to head medical oncology and haematology. His expertise covers breast, lung, gastrointestinal, urological and gynaecological cancers as well as lymphoma and myeloma, and he has personally performed around 400 bone marrow and stem cell transplants. He is a co-founder of the INDOX cancer research network.
