Dr. Vikas Dua directs paediatric haematology, oncology and the stem cell transplant programme at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, with over 20 years of experience; he and his team have performed more than 1,200 transplants. He completed an advanced fellowship in paediatric bone marrow transplantation at the National University Hospital, Singapore, and trained further at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. His practice covers childhood leukaemia, lymphoma, thalassaemia and other blood disorders, with particular experience in matched unrelated and haploidentical transplants. He has treated children referred from India, Afghanistan, Iraq and several African countries.
