About
A senior neurosurgeon who pioneered the functional stereotactic surgery program at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, performing a large number of deep brain stimulation (DBS) and ablative surgeries. Reported to be the first surgeon in India to use image-fusion technique to localize deep-brain targets, and known for frameless stereotactic navigation in epilepsy and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). Has performed 9,000+ neurosurgical procedures. Member of the Neurological Society of India and the Indian Society of Functional and Stereotactic Neurosurgery.
