Dr. Sandeep Vaishya heads neurosurgery at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, with more than 30 years of experience. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery at G.R. Medical College, Gwalior, and his MCh in Neurosurgery at AIIMS, New Delhi, in 1996, followed by the Sundt Fellowship in Neurosurgery at the Mayo Clinic. His practice covers minimally invasive and image-guided neurosurgery, intracranial and skull base tumour surgery, functional neurosurgery, spinal surgery and peripheral nerve surgery. He is among the world's leading surgeons for brachial plexus injury and among South Asia's most experienced in Gamma Knife radiosurgery, and is an awardee of the Herbert Krause Medal.
