A very senior neurologist and former Professor & Head of Neurology at AIIMS, New Delhi. At AIIMS she developed a comprehensive movement-disorders program with botulinum toxin therapy and deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's disease and dystonia. A leading authority on movement disorders, epilepsy, stroke and neurodegenerative disease. Past President, Indian Academy of Neurology; Past President, Delhi Neurological Association; founding President, Movement Disorders Society of India; editorial board member of several national and international journals.
