About

Dr. Belal Bin Asaf directs the Institute of Chest Surgery, Chest Onco-Surgery and Lung Transplantation at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram, and at Medanta, Noida, with more than 20 years of thoracic surgery experience and over 4,000 minimally invasive chest operations performed. He is a pioneer of robotic thoracic surgery in India and leads what is described as the country's largest chest surgery programme. His practice covers surgery of the lungs, mediastinum, trachea, oesophagus and diaphragm, including video-assisted and robotic operations for lung cancer, thymoma, oesophageal cancer and carcinoid tumours.
