Dr. Attique Vasdev is an orthopaedic surgeon with over 33 years in practice and has led the knee unit at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram, since the hospital opened in 2009, having played a central part in setting it up. He completed his MBBS at Kasturba Medical College and his MS in Orthopaedics at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, followed by a trauma fellowship in Israel and a joint replacement fellowship in Germany. His practice covers knee replacement, ligament reconstruction around the knee, knee osteotomy, arthroscopy and sports injury surgery. He teaches through workshops and live surgical demonstrations, and is a member of the Indian Orthopaedic Association and the Indo-German Orthopaedic Foundation.
