Dr. Anil Saxena

About

Dr. Anil Saxena chairs electrophysiology and cardiac pacing at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, where he has practised since 1989 and built the electrophysiology department. He is among the pioneers of implantable cardioverter defibrillator and biventricular pacemaker implantation in India, and has performed electrophysiological studies and radiofrequency catheter ablation for complex arrhythmias for over 25 years. He is a founder member of the executive committee of the Indian Heart Rhythm Society and served as its secretary, and is a member of the Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society and of the Heart Rhythm Society in the United States.
