Dr. Salil Jain heads nephrology and renal transplantation at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, with more than 28 years in the specialty. He completed a fellowship in nephrology and renal transplantation at the University of Toronto, and previously worked at St. Stephen's Hospital, Apollo Hospital, Fortis Vasant Kunj and Medanta – The Medicity. His practice covers chronic kidney disease, dialysis, critical care nephrology, and kidney transplantation of every type including live donor, deceased donor and paediatric transplantation. He is a member of the Indian Society of Nephrology, the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation, the American Society of Transplantation and the European Dialysis and Transplant Association.
